Eaton’s range of UL addressable detectors has been specifically designed to operate with its UL-listed range of addressable fire alarm systems. Three detector technologies are available: optical, photo-thermal detector and heat.

Suitable for most commercial applications the optical detector offers the fastest response to slow burning or smouldering fires. While the photo-thermal variant provides the quickest response to fast clean burning fires.

The heat version is for industrial or commercial applications where ambient conditions might cause false alarms due to high levels of dust, fumes, steam or smoke – such as in kitchens or workshops.
